Catfish! HELP!

I started cooking too late tonight and it's too cold and dark out to turn on the grill.

Does anyone have a CatFish recipe for stove top or oven?!!? I hope people are online.

Lemon Baked Catfish

The only way I eat catfish. I don't really like catfish. More of a salmon and bass kind of guy.

Put cornmeal all over it (you may want to put a little salt and red pepper in the meal), then deep fry it until it is golden brown.

If they are big enough to fillet, cut them in strips and boil them in shrimp seasoning like you would some shrimp. Poor man's seafood. :) Good hot or cold.

lol, yeah, it's my Carribean blood that anathemizes the cold.

So normally for the grill I just soak the catfish in lemon and put red pepper and black pepper and some light salting but last night, I made a rub from lemon pepper, paprika (from Ray's recipe), red pepper, black pepper, salt and garlic for giggles. Realizing that I might have done something stupid in trying to Create Something, I did a google search for Catfish, Lemon Pepper, and Red Pepper and found a recipe for Blackened Catfish.

I told me to melt some butter, slathered it on the catfish then rub the the mixture of ingredients that I already had, all over it. I took my frying pan and threw it on there (and almost died from smoke inhalation) pulled it off the frying pan and threw it into the oven with Italian Dressing poured all over it.

After about 30 minutes, over white rice, I had an AWESOME catfish dinner.

Well my answer is too late, but I would have beer battered it. When in question dunk it in beer batter and deep fry, you can't lose.
1cp flour,1egg,1cp beer.

1. Take one unclean, detestible swarming thing.
2. Dip it in strong drink.
3. Take the fat portion which belongs to the Lord, heat and cook the detestible swarming thing in this.
4. Enjoy.
