I created a thread where my weakness is exposed.

In the hopes of having a repository whereby charges against me can be housed, magnified and put on display, I decided to start this thread. The beauty of this thread is that I started it so I don't have to take it personally!

And Rey stomps off in a huff. So difficult to please. His OP here was more or less unanswerable as it sat. So I did two rewrites, one turning down the snarkiness, the other cranking it up. It's so hard to find just the right level of condescension. And then he goes and closes the thread to comments...

Only in an espresso pot. I can make a poor imitation, but nothing like I used to get in Hialeah. My roommate at FBC was half Castillian and half Black Irish. I used to hunch down in the car in Cuban Town as he went for our coffee kaleche (spelling) Whites weren't too welcome in that neighborhood.

Haven't been here in Theologica for a long while but some things never change... Rey's attention-whore narcissism seems to have no limits-- this thread now going on 3 years!  But that doesn't make him a bad person.
