In my country, the Muslim community have their "call for prayer" daily [3 times] on a loud speaker for all to hear and in my opinion ...it's quite disturbing to say the least. Should this stopped? Tolerated?
Yes, My wife and I do pray against it regularly and we do know that the battle is not against flesh and blood......
Your thoughts & openions are welcomed.

I say use it as a call to prayer and pray for those who desire to please God but have no understanding of His perfect love and grace.
Permalink Reply by E. A. Johnston on February 6, 2012 at 10:33am I don't think it is a good idea to limit anyone's religious freedom. So I think tolerance is called for. And I do agree with David. Every time you hear, say a prayer for all the elect Muslims!

I live very near my parish church and if I am outside I hear the bells. They chime the hour but they also, Chime the "Angelus", at noon and six every weekday. On the weekends they Ring at just before the start of every mass. This too is a "call to prayer"...Though ringing bells are probably not as "disturbing" as the Muslim call to prayer, the principle remains the same.
