What do you think are the Bible's most profound statements? I'll go first:

"Before Abraham was, I Am" --Jn 8.58

what say you?

triggered by that verse Exodus 3:13 & 14 are pretty impressive too

Exo 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Mine is along those same lines. "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No ones comes to The Father but through Me." I like puns though, and like to think of it as "I Am; The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No ones comes to The Father but through Me."

Daniel

I like Hebrews 10:14
"By one sacrifice, [God] has made perfect forever those who are being made holy"

I like that it includes all three time periods:
past - "has made perfect"
future - "forever"
present - "are being made holy"

And then the meaning of the words - "perfect" is huge, as is "forever," and "holy" is another amazing concept.

That verse (along with other stuff) finally convinced me that the believer cannot lose salvation -it is "forever" and past tense, even though s/he is not yet holy (but is being made that way). It still amazes me.
Isaiah 44:6-8: "Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts:'I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me. 'Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it; yes, let him recount it to Me in order, from the time that I established the ancient nation. And let them declare to them the things that are coming and the events that are going to take place. 'Do not tremble and do not be afraid; have I not long since announced it to you and declared it? And you are My witnesses. Is there any God besides Me, or is there any other Rock? I know of none.'"

Compared with (as if the previous wasn’t good enough for ya) Jesus' statement:
“Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last. Rev. 1:17
"My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments." - 1 John 2:1-3
Rom. 9, Eph. 1 are "biggies", speaking of Unconditional Election. It can well be added all the passages dealing with this subject.
I remember some guy preaching about the "Three Biggest Little Words" in the Bible one time. Anyone want to venture to guess which three little words they are? Even though this preacher was pretty strange, I have say that those words are pretty profound!
sublapsarianism, dispensationalism, complementarianism? :P
LOL! Not even close! ;)

I have found all the suggestions very profound and to pick others would be very difficult. I would venture the following triplets are very profound (I am reluctant to say the most profound)

You are forgiven
It is finished
He has risen
I will come again
Those are actually all probably more profound than the one mentioned by the preacher. The preacher spoke from Daniel chapter 3 with the "...but if not..." being the "Three Biggest Little Words."

Well I heard one was "so" in "God so loved the world", but I don't agree with that understanding of the word. My understanding is it means "God loved the world in this way" or "This is how God loved the world." Perhaps I'm wrong, though, and being picky.
