Christian Bikers

The following is a letter to an ABATE officer planning an upcoming motorcycle rally. I hope it will give you some idea of the opportunity Christian biker's have and what we do.

I am Tom. I am Road Captain for CMA Chapter #481 in Clarksville, Indiana and my wife Pam is the secretary. (attached are a couple of pictures of her.) I spoke to you briefly at I believe the leadership meeting this year and told you we would help you at Boogie this year.

I plan on packing my bike Tuesday and riding down early Wednesday morning, arriving mid to late morning. I will be willing to do whatever you need done. Jerry is one of our newest members and he may be able to come Wednesday as well. Jerry has a real gentle spirit and he has a heart for vets and addicts. His wife will be down if her schedule permits. She works in a youth shelter and has done prison ministry.

As I said, we really don't care what we do. My wife and I especially like to make contact with as many people as possible and minister every chance we get. And to quote "Duke" a buddy I made from the Evansville Chapter "We ain't skeered". We are willing to work long hours in the booth. Pam, my wife and I as well as Kim, Gary and Larry all go to ABATE meetings often and we have established relationships with many of the members in Region IX. My wife and I have also been able to establish relationships with some of the Iron Horsemen and Hell's Angels in our area. We worked Little Sturgis last year, so I believe we should be ready for Boogie.

The upcoming 28th annual event will be held July 17th to the 20th at the
Lawrence County Recreational Park in Springville, Indiana.

They expect between 15,000 to 18,000 biker's to attend. You can see how there might be devine opportunities.
