Welcome Chris,

This is not a very active forum. It's all yours. What would you like to discuss?

Blessings.

I personally am a YEC , but like most other area's in Theology I don't think people who believe differently aren't solidly in the Christian camp.

Most differences come from our perception of the evidence. While I think other views are wrong, I do think most are honest in holding their view and if the evidence would show their position to be wrong, they would change their view.

Same with me, if I am wrong in something I would change my view.

Stephen,

It might be more properly named dead.

Daniel,

Adam started the group. He's a YEC. He grabbed lots of standard YEC material, which generally does just what you pointed out. The standard YEC line is, everyone in opposition is an atheist evilutionist or a compromiser.

It just occurred to me that this group would more properly be named "Cosmogony." Any way to change it?

Why do the links in the Information box for this group seem to set up a false dichotomy between young-earth creationism and the "opposing" view of evolution? What's irenic about that?

A great resource to help understand the Old Universe viewpoint. Points out many of the difficulties of the YEC viewpoint in a gentle and respectful way.
