Greetings all!

I'm new to this group as of today and wanted to introduce myself.

Today I know longer consider myself "Pentecostal" or "Charismatic," but rather a Reformed Presbyterian Continuationist!

When I first begain seminary studies at Regent University I adhered to traditional Pentecostalism (i.e. salvation followed with the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tongues).

While attending Regent University I began to embrace the teachings of Reformed Theology and for various reasons I’ve since transferred from to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in order to complete my M.Div.

I no longer embrace the traditional Pentecostal views of the baptism with the Holy Spirit, but do believe in the "continuation" of the gifts of the Spirit given under the sovereign will of God.

Since I roll in Reformed Presbyterian circles, I recently quit calling myself a charismatic due to its ambiguities and somewhat negative correlation.

I look forward to meeting all of you, establishing new friendships, and discussing these issues further.

By His grace and for His glory, Jesse Wisnewski

Dear All

Hello there from the latest member to join the group. I have to confess though Luke that it was not out of raw naked fear that I did not join the group! That would have been a cool excuse, but in truth mine was out of total ignorance in that I did not stumble across it until today!

Looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better.

Just to also set you know that I am a Brit, from Liverpool UK, yes I know Home of the Beatles etc and was re just coming to the end of your year as Eurpean Capital of Culture 2008.

Looking forward to engaging with everyone over the coming weeks

Phil
