zhansman, you might ask Michael Patton for suggestions/advice about starting TTP at your church.  I think his contact info is on www.reclaimingthemind.org .  His vision for Credo House includes having local Credo Houses spread throughout.

Hey Kurt,  I have been pushing and cajoling the leadership in my church to get TTP started.  The church is a new church, birthed by a split from another and I am not one of the "power brokers."  They are trying to put together theologica training for the incoming leadership; I have offered to put together a shortened version of Intro.  We will see what happens.

zhansman, I don't get on this site much but appreciate your comment.  Have you checked whether TTP is offered locally (church or other organization)?

Hi,
I have just started with Introduction to Theology - really enjoying the course. We are in our fifth week. In addition, I have viewed the beginning session of Bibliology and Hermeneutics. Cds in the car on the way to work would be a good reinforcement of the teaching.

Hey Kurt, I am at the same place I was before -- listening to the classes on my ipod while driving to work. I have listened to all of the TTP classes except for E & E.

What did you think of B&H. My work schedule did not allow me to participate, though I did listen to all the lessons driving to/from work on my ipod. I had a hard time following the train of thought in a few of the lessons but that probably had more to do with the fact that I am not an auditory learner (ask my wife), plus driving is probably not the best environment for focusing on new material. But I do think every Christian should do some type of B & H work as part of their discipleship.

Hey Hans, good to hear from you. I have to laugh at myself, I couldn't figure out where to reply to you. Then it dawned on me that I have to sign in:) Anyway, I hope this forum gets used...thanks for checking it out. Also, in your profile or somewhere, you can specify that you want to be notified of comments left here.

I've taken B and H so I have 4 more to go. I plan to take Trin in Jan '10 (I believe that's when it will be offered next.)

Until next time...

Hey Kurt, if I remember that I've joined this group (it sucks getting old sometimes) I will be back to take a look periodically. -- Hans
