Dearest in Christ,
speaking in tongues, or another language, is a difficult are to discuss. There is a lot of scripture that relates to this topic and as the Bible tells us we need to divide the word carefully and correctly. This isn't a topic that can be covered in one or two comments. So, If it's ok with everyone, I'll start adding comments that reference scripture and try to tie them together so we all can reach our own conclusions. This, I believe is going to be exciting, eye-opening, and in some cases we may find our beliefs or conceptions may be askew.

Hey well I work at the Canadian Campus (we opened in 2002).

WOLBI has changed quite a bit since the '70's! It is still the same docrinally, and we still stress the same core beliefs as always. Still a big emphasis on Youth Ministry & Missions as well.

We have campuses in countries all around the world now, 4 in North America. Florida, Ontario, Quebec (French), and the New York headquarters.

I believe all are growing and the students continue to have an impact on their areas for Christ!

Both my wife and I are graduates of Word of Life Bible Institute, year 1983.

No one has discussed yet so I will. I graduated in 1976 and its been 10 years since I've even seen any of my classmates and he wasn't doing well spiritually or any other way. So I'm totally out of the WOL loop and have been for some time. I admit have done little to keep up with happening at WOLBI, but I did drive by the place (New York) a couple of years ago. So how about bringing me up to date with how the Lord is moving at WOLBI.
