Blessed Hope
As he walked on this side eternity
Before he was laid low.
Cancer was unknown to him
Death winds, they did not blow. But
Even the strongest must bow
For there is no respect of persons.
Gone is my brother
He has left us here a hurtin'.
I know that this dark valley
Just isn't all there is.
King Jesus has walked through it.
Life is still bright, because 'tis
My lot to be His child.
