Two concepts that seem close, but are world's apart: 1. You acting like Jesus. (wood and straw) 2. Jesus being Himself in and through you. (precious stones that do not burn up) In Christianity, isn't you acting like Jesus unacceptable?

???? Why not? If one's goal is to act like Jesus, wouldn't meditation on Jesus have an effect? What if I stop and try to remember a Proverb which brings wisdom to bear on this situation? or Pray for the indwelling Spirit for guidance?
