That is a neat picture at the top of your page. What is it?
My family would drive through Lethbridge on the way to Calgary to visit grandparents. Dad went to U of Alberta in Edmonton.

:) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Rom. 15:13) Keep up the good work, and may He be your peace.

Where is Leathbridge? Quite a few Canadians on the site. I used to live about 70 miles from Sarnia, Canada. I've traversed Canada from Washington state to Michigan, twiceJack, the Geezer

Hey Trevor, I read your blog post-I appreciate the feeling of being a failure at the Christian thing, I am personally the worst Christian in human history.

Luther said the entire Christian life is one of repentance-and of course that we are simul iustus et peccator. Our life experiences may denounce us as sinners but in Christ God's grace declares us saints.

It's a powerful realization that even our sanctification is the work of Christ-a work he will continue to do in us, and will not abandon until it is complete, even as we suffer in our sins. We are not given mercy just for pardon, but mercy for healing.

I think the best advice remains steep yourself in the grace of the gospel! That is what cleansed us and what still cleanses us. That is what kills our old man and makes us alive in Christ.
