Please read the message below that I sent out to some of my acquaintenances. It will bring you up to speed on what has been going on in my life. I will soon be serving as a TTP instructor at First Baptist Church of Elkhart.
I thought you would be interested in knowing that RMM (Reclaiming the Mind Ministries) will be partnering with First Baptist Church in bringing seminary level theological education to our community.
This educational program is known simply as The Theology Program (TTP). I am a graduate of this program. Michael Patton and Rhome Dyke are two theologians who have served on the pastoral staff of Stonebriar Community Church where Chuck Swindoll is the senior pastor. These men have been my mentors for the past couple of years. I have served as one of their Teaching Assistants (TA) for most of my period as a student. WOW! It has been an exhilarating experience!
RMM not only administrates The Theology Program but also has an internet radio program entitled "Theology Unplugged." In addition, they have an internet radio talk show entiltled "Converse with Scholars." CWS is very popular and does an excellent job of connecting laity with some of the best minds in the academic community. Past guests include Dan Wallace, J.P. Moreland, William Lane Craig, etc. By the way, Dan Wallace serves on our staff as Advisor/Instructor.
TTP will be commencing at FBC this coming Fall. I will serve as instructor. Pastor Blodgett asked me if this curriculum would be suitable as an elective offered at the senior high level at ECA. My response was, "absolutely." I would love to facilitate this process at ECA.

Another ministry of RMM is the Parchment and Pen theology blog. Check out my debut on this blog. It consists of a letter I sent to Pastor Blodgett... There are some typo’s in the blog. The bulleted item which begins with “Noeticeffects” should read “Noetic effects.” The errors were not in the original autographa. So, the textual variants must be due to scribal errors - perhaps an amanuensis... J
Here is the link to the blog. I value your feedback. Feel free to leave comments on the Parchment and Pen comment section.

How are ya? Are you continuing with your TTP studies?
My Sister-in-Law, Elaine Kennedy, has just joined Theologica. She has been a missionary for many years; she is a published author and a scholar in her own right. Would you welcome her to Theologica and add her as your friend?
