Vlad; apparently, you've not yet, heard of the newest spiritual movement; The "Church of the Freed Fractalists." Its so new, you can't even find it on WikIpedia!

Ray; WoW! that exact mathematical formula has kept running through my mind, for years, but I didn't know what it applied to! now, if I can just sell my "Yellowstone Bay Bridge", I'll be able to create the "Museum d'fractal art"! Are there any patr...

What is the significance of factuals in mathematics, science, and theology? If any. I ask because while they are interesting I see them as not much more than any repeating infinite set.

Sweetie is my Father's day present. She's a 3-4 month old Chinchilla. She's so cute! Kinda like a daughter...except with fur and you don't have to pay for a prom, college, a wedding, worry when she's out driving or with some guy that's not good enough for her, or any of that!!!! :)

Profile Information

Tell us about yourself
I've studied over a dozen different interpretations of Creation for many years. It is a favorite topic of mine. I am disabled with a neurological condition called POTS. You can read all about it here. I spend a lot of my "free" (read "unpaid") time creating fractals. You can see some of my work at my online fractal gallery.

Also... Here on Theologica, I am one of the moderators and admins of the site. I didn't create it, but have been asked to be the point of escalation among the team of those that help in that area. I mention this as a "need to know" because if I caution you about something, it's more than just an opinion.
How would you describe yourself theologically?
Correct.
Who is the greatest theologian in the last 2000 years? (Besides Biblical People!)
C.S. Lewis

Is comparing Health Care to Auto Insurance fair?

Unless you live on Mars or something, you've probably heard some politician comparing health insurance to car insurance. It sounds like a good argument, but isn't for several reasons that hit me last night in a rare moment of clarity. Here's a top ten list why that comparison just doesn't work..

1. Auto insurance is mandated at the State/local level. Nothing in the Constitution grants Congress the right to mandate something like this. A state law that requires me to have insurance… Continue

May my colander be ever changing

Recently, Lisa Robinson posted something on Parchment and Pen entitled "Is Truth Really Not Relative". If you haven't read it, I really recommend it. That and Michael's recent post on… Continue

The Cost of Health Care

A lot has been said about the current cost if health care. This is usually talking about two different things though. The first is used as the rationale to get the government involved. It is the current cost to the consumer. We hear how much more we pay than other countries and how we can't keep doing that. It is going to bankrupt us. Or so they say. But I believe that there is a direct correlation between the US being the wealthiest nation on earth and the amount we spend on health care. It is… Continue

This says it all

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The bottom number on the Oximeter is my pulse. It shows what just a little bit of activity will do to me. All it needs is the sound track of me being so out of breath that it sounds like I ran a marathon. A 239% increase in my pulse by doing nothing more than taking an 8… Continue

What's in a number?

We keep hearing that there are 47 Million Americans without insurance. It is a number inextricably linked to the "crisis" of health care. But everyone I know that wants medical insurance, has it. So I wanted to know who makes up this 47 Million Americans.

Turns out, that a lot are not even Americans. The 47 Million figure comes from the “Income, Poverty, and Health Insurance Coverage in t… Continue

Daniel; At your suggestion, I've added firefox to my windows xp. I've used it before Maybe on my vista, for its spell-check feature, but, it was incompatible, for some reason.
So, what extensions do I need? Jack
