I live on my own, having lost my husband four years ago, I care for my 91 year old mother, still work part time at work I love and am part of a four generation family here in Oxford. I love life again..:)

How would you describe yourself theologically?

I find this very difficult - I have a very deep faith and draw from many faiths, but it is really just a feeling inside of me - I love the Christian faith, but I feel uncomfortable with structures....I have just been informed of the Unitarian Universalists and may try them...I dont know....

Who is the greatest theologian in the last 2000 years? (Besides Biblical People!)

spiritual discipline

I feel I must find some kind of spiritual discipline, as at the moment I have none. I feel I was more spiritually minded when I was younger - the last few years after the death of my husband has thrown me into disarray - and though I am aware very much of a pathway - I know I have been thrown off course and need to start in a small way to find my spiritual path again.....

Glad to be here

I know I will be really intrigued to be in this group, though I have no theological training or intellectual abilities, having left school very young. I love the Bishops discussion post on the simplicity of just following Jesus rather than getting involved with a lot of religious intellectualism (I think he said this?) - and I much appreciate Daniels explanation of the word irenic as far as discussions go.

I look forward to learning..:)
