Tell us about yourself

I am a humble servant of Christ Jesus, a College Chaplain, Campus Pastor , and proud father to two beautiful daughters. I am married to my high school sweetheart and enjoy the beauty of living in the shadow of the Almighty.

How would you describe yourself theologically?

I am a deeply spiritual and relational human being. I resist theological labels, but for the sake of being defined here it goes: I read and identify with Orthodox, Charismatic, Free Will Theism and a variety of other theological structures. Theology has become a subject that I am increasingly disengaging from. While it is an important subject, it is not the object of my attention anymore. I will however engage in any discussion that is polite, respectful and theologically hospitable. To often I am told that I don't understand, or misrepresent a view and it is has become almost cliche to the people flame each other on boards involving theology.

Who is the greatest theologian in the last 2000 years? (Besides Biblical People!)

Augustine, Millard J. Erickson, Alvin Plantinga (philosopher), NT Wright, Francis Schaeffer and a few others.

I get hammered on all sides, then one little meek voice will send me a private note thanking me for standing up for truth.

Sometimes I feel like a battle weary Crusader, all by myself and I think "C'mon!! I'm a housewife! Where are the pastors and professors?!?!"

But the Lord is pleased to use the foolish to confound the wise I guess.
