Tell us about yourself
I grew up in a very conservative Jewish, values driven, home. My dad is West Point graduate and my mom and her family came to the U.S. in 1937 after fleeing Nazi persecution in Germany. Most of her family died in Theresienstadt and Auschwitz.

To make a long story short...I came to Christ at 36 years of age(on Jan. 17, 2002) after a year long biblically based extremely intense search for truth.

I am a licensed minister of the Gospel. I love to share my faith journey with church's, men's groups, women's groups and youth groups. Occassionally the opportunity arises to fill in on the pulpit and preach...and I love doing this as well.

I have been married to my beautiful wife Susan since March 20, 1988. I have two sons-Zach born in 1992 and Will born in 1995. I am an Associate Broker and Director of Education for Coldwell Banker Kennon Parker Duncan and Key-the largest Real Estate brokerage firm in Columbus GA. (and the #1 Coldwell Banker office in the 16 state southern region).
How would you describe yourself theologically?
I believe that the Scriptures (Old & New Testaments), being written by men and inspired by God, are a perfect treasure of holy writings, with salvation as the "end". They are, therefore, true, trustworthy, infallible, and authoritative.

I believe in "the fall" and that I am a sinner and in need of reconciliation with a holy God. In the dispensation of the sacrificial system something had to die to accomplish this reconciliation. I believe that Christ's atoning work on the cross(sacrificial death, miraculous resurrection and ascension) dealt with this issue once and for all.

I believe in the doctrine of justification...that there is a moment in time for every believer when they were justified (made right before God, saved, clothed in His righteousness, reborn, converted or whatever you want to call it) and once this conversion takes place the believer can't be unsaved, unborn, unclothed, or unconverted. In other words...a true believer endures to the end.

I believe that there is judgment and grace in the Old Testament and I believe that there is grace and judgment in the New Testament. God is immutable. The God of the OT is the same God of the NT.

I believe in the One true and living God (af Abraham, Isaac & Jacob) that reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit without division of nature, essence or being.

I believe that there are essentials (to the faith) as well as non-essentials. I believe in "dying for" the essentials. I don't, however, believe in dying for the non-essentials. I believe in debating irenically the non-essentials.

I believe in properly interpreting the Scriptures historically, culturally, and contextually. I believe there are mysteries in the Bible that God never intended for us to "figure out" until we meet Him in eternity. A person's lack of belief in something that is true does not make that something untrue, it makes the person wrong!
Who is the greatest theologian in the last 2000 years? (Besides Biblical People!)
Martin Luther, J.I. Packer

Does this mean you are a Trinitarian?
