I have liked all my professors, and the classes have been beneficial. I will be taking Greek and Systematic Theology next Fall, so that will be a challenge. So far I've taken hermeneutics, NT survey and OT survey.

In retrospect, I wish I had gone to Moody undergrad, but God has a purpose for everything "under the sun."

You heard that Dr. Easley resigned as MBI president. Complications with his recent back surgery are keeping him from fulfilling his duties. He will be missed!

I personally don't like theological labels, but they seem to be a necessary evil (Ya can't tell the Christians without a scorecard). Once you label someone, you get pre-conceived ideas (Oh, he's reformed...we'll pray for you).

I have read that Erasmus presented several Translations to the Pope's party, but were rejected until he would include a portion ,which he insisted, wasn't in the "original", however, erasmus relented and His work was accepted. Do you know what this portion was, and was it found in any other manuscripts?

Obviously, God is watching over me before I actually get saved. The other details can be called speculative, but certainly in accord with what God has revealed. I'm not dreaming up NEW doctrine. The Westminster Confession declares "God has ordained whatsoever comes to pass..." If it happened, God ordained, and was in control of the details. The W.C. goes on to say that God also uses secondary causes and Man is still responsible.
