Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a wondering Mere Christian who's daily repenting (and blushing) from the sheer volume of my past certainties. Committed to the foolishness of divine glory as revealed in the face of Christ. The husband (Oh, happy thought) to Sandi. A father of six. Befuddled reader, aspiring prophet of corporeality, and chili dog’s (fully loaded) greatest advocate. It’s been 40 days since Christ overcame death on Easter morning. Scripture tells us that it was on this day that he ascended into the presence of his father and sat down at his right hand. Dear Kids,

I have a confession. I’m not heterosexual, and I hope you’re not either.

One of my concerns with the debate about Same Sex Marriage- especially as argued on the basis of civil rights- is that the revision will legally redefine our most basic institution by affirming a really significant fiction.
