Lisa, Most 'Christians' live in the shades of grey. Its an easier life. (so i have heard) p.

Lisa, Christianity is based on Faith, faith in what we, today in our Society and culture, cannot prove to be true other than the witness of those who were well before us in History. Christ is an Historical figure that has many witness' outside of...

I agree, since we will all admit that God is the creator of all that it is only of a truth that we understand that God also created evil. Or atleast the potential to do evil. Satan was probably not called satan at the beginning, but we do not have...

Satn, the Devil, which ever Biblical title you prefer was good once. So in direct reply. No (So if God is in the business of turning evil into good (i.e. Genesis 50:20, Romans 8:28, etc), is there anything that is ultimately "evil" (since God will...

True, it is that God is not willing, but which translation: willing, wanting, wishing, desiring. It ends that "all should come to reprentance" but it does not declare that "all" will, does it? The same can be said of Jn 3:16, it doesn't declare ...

In repsect to those who have already posted some interesting (-and not so interesting) thoughts.... I use a handheld and it has an accompaning array of additions, including the Grk/Hb Lexicons. All to which I can create notes on the fly as well a...

She should hire out for the work to be done. Then we he says he doesn't have any money for his fishin' tackle or that new hunting jacket, she can tell him that that money went to pay for the person doing the work he should(won't) do. Also, that if...

Please note: I've got a friend who is in some rather large trouble for something that he probably did. So any answers we give are speculative at best, since 'probably' creates doubt. This reminds me of leslie's discussion, they ask for comments...

Chad, Maybe it would be best to avoid your 'friend' at all costs. How about sequestering yourself in dedicated prayer for your 'friend' by going abroad and not being able to be found, thus turning off the cell. Is there a wooded area where you c...

Steve, I would leave it alone, God will reveal Himself if she truly desires to meet Him. But, i would still inquire as to her relationship with Christ, making sure there is one. The rest will fall into its proper place when she starts searching....

D, After my first reading, i rather dispel this, especially when i have to read different version of the Bible for one to make a point (i almost thought i was reading something from one of warrens books). I would be more impressed should one vers...

Now, I just want help. How do think I could overcome this mental state I find myself in these days? Could you please give me some workable suggestions? If these are not your problems, and since you ignored my small request. I strongly suggest tha...

DrMike, good catch, it must have run out of room at the end for i put a footnote after my 'p.'. Thanks. -BTW, if you're going to quote someone (in this case, Heaster) would it not be appropriate to cite him? Just asking.- p. (okay have to go fo...

It is a shame that I *had* to close it. But when people repeatedly refuse to answer direct questions and then say "you can be a Pharisee if you want but God is on my side" (my paraphrase), then it reached a point of no return. After 12 pages of my patience and his repeated avoiding of questions and taking us down a long, long rabbit trail, I had no hope that page 13 would be any better. It was time to move on.
