When I think of Mary, the mother of Jesus, the first thing that comes to mind is a worship drama in which I participated a few years ago. I'm not one for worship drama, but this was different from anything I had seen. It was on an Advent Wednesday evening, at Vespers service. The drama was written by my supervising pastor on internship and it had only two parts: Mary and Gabriel. It was like two simultaneous monologs woven together.

Trust and Science

After an interesting conversation with a potential parishioner, I have had a few curious thoughts about the Discovery Channel. Well, not solely the Discovery Channel--which, by the way, I love--but about the popular consumption of science.

Thank you for your concern. It means a lot. I am doing well, and the Lord is seeing me through all things. He is incredibly merciful and immeasurably powerful and completely strong to Save. He has shown grace and kindness upon me.
