Please list evidentially, why you believe the dateing of Revelation regardless to when you believe it was written. 90 AD, 96 A.D. or Before 70 A.D. 63 A.D. Etc

Ray - Scott I have never heard of a partial Preterist that claimed we are still in the last days since 70AD. On the contrary most Partial Preterists I know believe that 70AD ended the last days with Christs Presence being ushered in at the destru...

What Is The Gospel? (Part 5)

After much thought and consideration over the past few weeks, I am now able to conclude with my fifth and final entry on my series of what is the gospel. Here are some summary points from the first four articles:

I started out by claiming that an attempt to define the gospel is both a simple act and not so simple act. It is simple in that the gospel is not to be overloaded with do's and do not's. We don't really have to write some treatise to simply define that which is the good n… Continue

The Associate and Black

In the past, I have communicated that I love to read fiction books, mainly of the suspense and fantasy genres. Recently, I finished two works that fall in both genres. The first was John Grisham's new novel, The Associate, and the second was Black,… Continue

Let Us Not Defer

‘Hope deferred makes the heart sick,’
But sometimes it is not ours to pick.
Too many have awaited their answer,
Even liberation from the oppressor.
So it leaves for humanity many a questions,
And many times lacking one easy solution.
But let that not distort, let that not cause stumble,
For, though queries remain, the call is stay humble.
Think it not foolish, rather see it as wise,
To embrace long-suffering, for there will be a prize.
As one sage claims, ‘Desire fulfilled is life.’
But even the… Continue

What Is The Gospel? (Part 4)

Here I am, wading through this series I've called, What Is The Gospel? I'm considering what is the good news? What is it about? Or, maybe better stated, what is its content?

In my last post, I really took the time to make it clear what I believe the central message of the gospel is, as pr… Continue

The Evolution of Dance

I had a thought this week, after seeing the video that I posted below. Maybe I should regularly post a video clip from YouTube that I think is funny, just for laughs. You don't have to agree with me that such videos are humourous, though I hope you agree with me. But I simply just want to laugh, and YouTube can be helpful with that. Being such a serious theological thinker, I really do need to just 'lighten up' at times. I don't imagine I will post a video every week, but maybe every couple of w… Continue

Well I kind of assumed the woman (the one behbeh looks like) that has featured in several photos with you and him and before that with you but pregnant is his mama. Am I wrong? Cause if I am, that's pretty weird man.

I don't see how this is not true, that dispensationalism teaches that the rapture and final coming are two separate events.??? Yes, they teach that they are separate events, but I don't think you have considered why they teach that (or if you have considered, you do not allow in your writings that maybe there are reasons). Rather, you just write as if they for no reason arbitrarily split the same event into two events.

That's okay. I think the thread had run the course of my OP, but I did ask that people not engage the validity question. I (with the whole of theologica readership) understand that you disagree with Dispensationalism (and the other isms affiliated with it). But really, with the things you say about it to try to bolster your system, the Dispensationalism is and is not thread threatens your inerrancy thread faster than my Quirks.

It also seems you were trying to make a point, so it's kinda weird that now you want to back off and say you were "joking". There's nothing wrong with presenting your point of view and you don't have to pretend you were joking.

Rey's gift is hawt.

It's been busy lately, and a lot of the threads I've read but not really commented on—either out of my area of knowledge or interest, or I have nothing new to contribute. I was hoping to comment on your blogposts about the gospel, but work and life have gotten in the way of the important things lately. ;)

Thanks for the comment.
