When the Creator spoke to Adam and warned him against eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, He warned him that he would die if he at of it. Some have looked at the statement and wondered how a father could tell his child, “If you do this thing, I’ll kill you”. The reality is that something vastly different was taking place. The man would surely die, but he was not being warned of it by one who was solely his father.
The relationship between the LORD (YHWH) and…

“If the Christian position with respect to creation, that is, with respect to the idea of the origin of both the subject and the object of human knowledge is true, there is and must be objective knowledge. In that case the world of objects was made in order that the subject of knowledge, namely man, should interpret it under God. Without the interpretation of the…

“David Hume, the great skeptic, has effectively argued that if you allow any room for Chance in your thought, then you no longer have the right to speak of probabilities. Whirl would be king. No one hypothesis would have any more relevance to facts than any other hypothesis. Did God raise Christ from the dead? Perchance he did. Did Jupiter do it? Perchance he did. What is Truth? Nobody knows.”

joan elizabeth mazzu said… hello jason. i hope you and your family and group are well. i have not been on theologica.ning website very much recently, but still think of this place as a place to communicate with brothers and sisters in Christ about the deeper things of God.
your sister in Christ, joan mazzu. ( i would have sent this to all my friends, but i don't know how to do that if it is possible.)
Foo Foo Cuddlypoops said… I don't have cable, so we are usually behind the times on cartoons and whatnot, also. Avatar was on Nickelodeon a few years ago and on Netflix now.
Dr Mike said… A "Goldwing"? Never in all my years have I been so insulted!
It is a 2010 H-D Street Glide. I added the tour pack and Ultra Classic seats for a better ride. The original owner had installed Vance & Hines X-pipes (to significantly reduce heat from the pipes), Screamin' Eagle true-dual exhausts, and an upgraded sound system that will rock your world at 80 mph. It has cruise control and most of the creature comforts - except heated grips and heated seats.
Who wants to admit to have a bun warmer on his Harley, after all?
Foo Foo Cuddlypoops said… I am a fan of the Avatar cartoon series from Nickelodeon. Foo Foo Cuddlypoops is a saber-tooth moose lion cub from one of the episodes. This is not the first time I changed my name to Foo Foo Cuddlypoops. See?
Doc Mike said… I'm a poor risk as a friend on T, given my past of quitting and coming back and quitting and coming back and . . .
But thanks!
Carl Gobelman said… Yeah, I'm not sure either, except for the fact that I'm not very active on theologica.
David Armstrong said… Good! Some of my best friends have been my biggest opponents in the arena of debate. I look forward to our discussions. ;)
Daniel said… It's bad enough that I have to share my birthday with my twin, but every four years I get cheated. They add in this leap-day and I have to wait an extra day for my birthday. :( So officially, it isn't until tomorrow, but I appreciate the birthday wishes. :)
