I like the technology. There are good and bad points but sites like this or any other, are not much different then letter writing used to be. There is just a shorter response time. The pro’s for m...

Help me save 100 children from abortion

I think that passion for a cause must be balanced by compassion. Abortion is not a mathematical problem and as Holly and Raquel have pointed out, there are real people involved. To find solutions,...

Why did God create us?

Revelation 4:11 (King James Version) 11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Why did God create us?

Ever have smoke ring thoughts? You see them but touch them and they disappear. I'm going to let go of Rev 2&3 for a second. There's a question, smoke ring, in Rev 21 that I can't quite get to....

Profile Information

Tell us about yourself
I am a plumber, work with a Labrador rescue group and am the foster home for two senior Labs. I am the hospice home for one of them. I'm not well educated. I have some disability issues that make me a recluse.
How would you describe yourself theologically?
I do not know who I am theologically. I'm not able to be in rooms with lots of people (5 is a lot) so I don't go to church. I believe in God, Christ Jesus His Son and the Spirit. I believe the Bible. I did not know believing in Christ was so complicated until coming here.
Who is the greatest theologian in the last 2000 years? (Besides Biblical People!)
The Holy Spirit.

NOMINEE FOR "EMAIL OF THE YEAR"!!!

After being interviewed by the school administration, the prospective teacher said:
'Let me see if I've got this right. You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor their dress habits, censor… Continue

Why did Jesus fold the napkin?

Why Did Jesus Fold the Napkin?

This is one I can honestly say I have never seen circulating in the emails so; I'll start it, if it touches you and you want to -- forward it.

Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection? I never noticed this....

The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was… Continue

Dude. My nephew did that once in my room. Except he used poo.

Nothing against you or the post plumber. You weren't the one getting very offended.

Hey Plumber,

A compassionate heart shows mercy to all creatures of our God and King. :) I'll send you the link to a recent article in the Christian Post about animals and their final destiny - it's worth a read, anyway!

Thank you for the friendship as well.

Peace & grace,

Holly

We went to the Mission in early Sept. Drove past the stadium at some point. I told my wife that since the Rams left town, the Chargers are the home team. She won't have any of that.

You may want to look at my website when you have a chance. You will find I look at everything very differently. I'll let you worry about if that's good or not.

Blessings.

It is worth discussing. The OP was different than your post. I would not have hijacked it into Lewis' book had I known the source of the question. Love is a very vulnerable spot and while God does not call us to a love that is a doormat he does call us to love. What does that look like? Good question. Worth a conversation.
